At Shorelake SC, we're committed to providing an exceptional youth soccer experience for every player and family. As a community-based, volunteer-driven nonprofit, we focus on player development, memorable experiences, and creating opportunities both on and off the field.

What Makes Shorelake SC Different?

  • 10-Week Fall Recreational Season & Post-season Tournament – A full season that gives players more opportunities to learn, improve, and enjoy the game.

We start games the first weekend in Sept and include the after-season inter-city tournament and jamboree for the ages that qualify for them. Your team might have a bye / skipped game, depending on how many teams are in your grouping but you’ll still get practices for the entire time

This means, if your team elects to participate in the after-season you can expect to get ~12 games ( 10 season games, plus at least 2 post-season games in a double-elimination tournament, or a Jamboree rotation with several games). That’s ~50% more than a club with an 8 game season

  • Brand-New Premium Player Kits Every Year – Our players are always changing sizes, so every player in our league-wide recreational program receives a new Shorelake kit each season.

  • Junior Referee Program – Trained Junior Referees officiate our recreational matches, allowing coaches to focus on coaching and parents to enjoy watching the game.

  • Professional Game-Day Fields – We take pride in preparing fields that create an authentic soccer experience with quality field lining, goals (not popups), and game-day presentation.

  • League Jamborees and City-Wide Tournament Included – Recreational teams receive complimentary entry into league-wide Jamborees and eligible end-of-season city-wide tournaments with no additional registration fees.

  • Year-Round Player Development – Opportunities extend beyond the fall season through clinics, camps, futsal, skills training, and additional seasonal programs.

  • Community Events – Families enjoy events throughout the year, including activities like our annual Easter Egg Hunt and other community celebrations.

  • Club Swag Shop – Players, families, and supporters can show their Shorelake pride with official club apparel and merchandise.

  • Volunteer-Driven and Community Focused – Our club is led by dedicated volunteers who continually reinvest time and resources into improving the experience for every family. Culminates in End-of-year Award Ceremony for All Volunteer staff A chance to get the entire club together to celebrate the various volunteers (coaches, parents, referees etc..)

  • Affordable and Accessible – We strive to keep soccer affordable while offering scholarship opportunities so every child has the chance to play.

  • Positive Coaching Environment – We support our volunteer coaches with resources, education, and club guidance to create a fun, safe, and development-focused experience.

  • A Pathway for Every Player – Whether a child is playing soccer for the first time or looking to continue developing, Shorelake provides opportunities to grow through recreation and beyond.
